Now that I’ve graduated college, I have time for fun stuff, like accessorizing my motorcycle with colors. I found this tank on eBay and it’s blue and sparkles. Pretty great, I’m enjoying the splash of color over the standard black tank. Here is my 1976 BMW R75/6 in front of Fuel Cafe in Milwaukee. Swipe to see a close up of the tank.
Here is my final television reporting piece for this semester, a spotlight on Walker’s Point and Fuel Cafe’s Two Wheel Thursday. For this one we had to come in at longer than 60 seconds and under 1:20.
I’ve had this idea for awhile now and am finally getting started on it. I picked up these side covers from Boxer Cafe because they look very well made, and the stock metal BMW /5 side covers are getting stupid expensive. The stock /6 models are boooo-ring and these have a nice art deco vibe. So I’m going to make something of my own. I’d had it in mind to paint the tank anyway, so this is a good opportunity to make everything match. Stay tuned…
