I sent a few photographs to a new project in Milwaukee, called Zip MKE. The group has a mission “To break down the geographical and linguistic barriers that divide us in the city of Milwaukee through an online gallery, exhibition event, and traveling display of photographs–both scenic and portrait–from each of the city’s 28 zip codes.”
I just received word that some of my pictures have been included in the inaugural show, which will be housed at Milwaukee’s grand Central Library from January 21 – February 19. I have no idea which pictures were selected and am curious to see what ends up on the walls, taken by myself and other Milwaukee neighbors.
The opening event is from 12:00pm – 3:00pm on Saturday, January 21. Complete details here. Hope to see you there!
