Hamilton Wood Type Museum

July 26, 2012

A year or two ago I took an Intro to Letterpress class at the Hamilton Wood Type Museum. The place is a fantastic living history trove of Wisconsin’s printing history. An hour and a half north of Milwaukee in Two Rivers this museum rests inside the sprawling cream city brick complex that at one time was the Hamilton Corporation. I visited again to sit down and talk with the museum director, Jim Moran to learn more. Give a listen to this interview which aired on Milwaukee’s NPR station, 89.7 WUWM.
